However, the number of homes under contract shows a pronounced upward trend, and is now at 51. Prices are rising in Springfield and the median sales price this period increased from $394,500 to $480,000. In spite of the decrease in sales, a low three months of inventory signals that Springfield, Virginia is still a seller’s market.
