The Bull Run Festival of Lights is an impressive 2.5 mile drive illuminated by holiday light displays and is an ideal family holiday treat for all ages! The annual festival of lights is located at Bull Run Park off of I-66 on Route 29. You and your family can stay warm and drive slowly thru the festival of lights route from the comfort of your car. The Festival of Lights is open November 23, 2016 through January 8, 2017 (the day before Thanksgiving until just after New Year’s Day) and is open nightly.
The Bull Run Festival of Lights attracts thousands of visitors each year. The light displays feature holiday and fairy-tale themes, including Santa and his reindeer, Santa’s Toy Company, Winter Wonderland, a large portal wreath, snow falling through the trees, the Wizard of Oz, and lots of Christmas trees, candy canes, and bells. The park is always adding lights to the dazzling show, so there might be some new displays in store! Turn off your headlights and you and your family will enjoy the illumination. You can even add holiday music by tuning into 97.1 FM. The entrance fee is $15 per vehicle during the week and $20 on weekends. The light show is open Monday through Thursdays 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Friday through Sunday and holidays 5:30 to 10 p.m. Tip: Go during the week—Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are the busiest nights! After enjoying the light displays, visit the Holiday Village for holiday fun for the whole family! This attraction features carnival and camel rides, games, holiday cookie decorating, holiday crafts and bingo, food vendors and merchandise, hay rides, and a photo opp with Santa! Bull Run Festival of Lights is a great place for families to enjoy some holiday magic! For more information, call Bull Run Regional Park at 703-631-0550.
