One of my favorite events is just around the corner!  Mark your calendars for ‘Celebrate Fairfax!’  If you haven’t been it’s a MUST for kids and adults alike : )

In most years, we wait to announce our headliners until mid-March, just before tickets go on sale.  While tickets won’t be on sale until April 1st, we wanted to offer our loyal fans a sneak peek at what is in store for 2017! We hope you’ll save the date (June 9-11) and join us this year.

Headliners Announced!
We are pleased to officially welcome two national headliners to this year’s festival.  BUSH will appear on Friday, June 9th and EVERCLEAR on Saturday, June 10th.  Additionally, two other support headliners are going to be announced in the near future, both appearing with Everclear on the 10th. 

Our festival is absolutely the best concert deal in the DMV.  Purchase during the Super Early Bird period (April 1-10), and your general admission ticket is only $8 for a single day, and $14 for a weekend ticket (all concerts included!).  Surcharges, as much as $12 to $15 per ticket at other venues….just $2.50 per ORDER at Celebrate Fairfax!.  Whether you buy 1 ticket or 20, the same $2.50 order processing fee is in place.

VIP Experience Packages
Our popular VIP Experience packages are returning this year with three options from which to choose, each with limited availability (and we expect them to sell quickly in April).

Gold:  Includes on-site parking (instead of satellite parking with shuttle bus drop-offs), admission, access to the Party on the Patio lounge, priority access to the Silent Disco, 2 complimentary drinks (and other drink specials), private air-conditioned flushable restrooms, and a complimentary catered dinner.  Price per ticket is $35 during the Super Early Bird, and will rise to $50 by the week of the festival.
Platinum:  Includes everything in the Gold package, plus 2 additional complimentary drinks, and guaranteed front of stage viewing access with a private bar.  Price per ticket is $60 for the first 10 days of sales (only 150 tickets available per night!).
Platinum Weekend:  Platinum benefits all weekend long!  Price per ticket is $150 during the Super Early Bird, and then $200 until they sell out.

The Sunday Brew
New this year, we are proud to announce a pop-up craft brew festival within the event, The Sunday Brew.  Taking place Sunday, June 11th from 12 noon to 6 p.m., tickets will include unlimited tastes, more than 45 different beers and ciders from 12 different breweries, 6 bands performing on two stages, and of course festival admission for Sunday.  Price per ticket is $35 during the Super Early Bird period, rising to $50 by the festival week, if tickets remain.  Only about 1,500 tickets are being made available for The Sunday Brew.  Additionally, Platinum ticket holders will receive full Gold benefits for the day plus Sunday Brew and private tastings in our main stage skybox.

Popular Programs and New Additions
The best Silent Disco experience in the mid-Atlantic returns for the 7th consecutive year, and don’t miss the silent bands during the daytime hours.  Yes, silent bands…you’ll need headphones to hear them!  New this year will be a 160’ drop tower at the center of the carnival area, plus more than 40 rides and attractions.  Additionally don’t miss this year’s DockDogs Championship, Children’s Avenue and Public Safety Display, Dueling Pianos, and an expanded Virginia wine tasting experience in the Hub.  The Fairfax County Karaoke Championship (featuring a $1,500 top cash prize) begins preliminary rounds in mid-March, and new programs, artists on our 8 stages, and other events will be announced within the coming weeks.
