Winston Knolls is an amazing neighborhood and I must admit I am a little biased about this little corner of Springfield, Virginia. My family and I moved into Winston Knolls almost 8 years ago and we love being an active part of this community. I couldn’t be happier to support the Knolls News and the wonderful services, events, and activities that our neighborhood civic association (WKCA) sponsors throughout the year. We have just a short walk to Orange Hunt Elementary School and we are in the West Springfield High School district. We love having Huntsman Square Shopping Center just minutes away and we are so lucky to be centrally located and close to major transportation, shopping and wonderful restaurants! We couldn’t have found a better place to call home.

A Little About Winston Knolls
Winston Knolls is a small subdivision found between Huntsman Blvd and the Fairfax County Parkway, and it offers one of the best and most sought after locations in Springfield, VA. It’s a top choice in a Washington D.C. suburb with a tranquil atmosphere. Relocating to D.C. isn’t always easy. There are so many communities to choose from and it can be hard to find the right home for sale. Winston Knolls offers some of the best real estate in the area.

Winston Knolls was established in the 1970s and quickly developed into a very popular community in Fairfax County. Winston Knolls II is also known as Rolling Valley and offers 191 total homes. Each section offers something a little bit different with plenty of homes to choose from. The community offers many single-family homes in all different sizes. It’s common to find four-bedroom homes with two bathrooms here. Many of the homes are on 1/3-acre lots and Colonial homes are pretty common throughout Winston Knolls. Homes for sale in Winston Knolls include generous living space with plenty of upgraded custom features. Many of the homes were built in the 1970s and have been upgraded since.

While Winston Knolls is a residential community, it’s found close to plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The Old Keene Mill Shopping Center is just outside the community, along with the Burke Town Plaza found in nearby Burke, VA. Other shopping options are found nearby in Springfield.
Plenty of dining options are found just outside the community. Rafagino is a popular restaurant found nearby, along with Milano’s Family Restaurant. Many other dining options are found in neighboring communities, as well.

Plenty of history is found throughout the area with the Historic Sydenstricker Schoolhouse found just outside the community and a Civil War-era Tunnel not far away.
