Many events are held in Lorton at the Workhouse Arts Center every year. It’s a 55-acre facility that took over the space that used to be the historic D.C. Workhouse and Reformatory. The Workhouse Arts Center is more than just a place for events, however.
The center supports over 100 emerging artists and professionals in the area. It has become one of the most nationally and regionally recognized spots for visual and performing arts. With artist studios and galleries, it’s a great place to enjoy an event.
