What to Expect With Hangry Burger?

That’s why we’re thrilled that a new burger joint has opened in Springfield Commons! Hangry Burger recently held its grand opening at 6699G Frontier Plaza, debuting with a menu of burgers and fries that show off more than meat and potatoes.

Created by best friends Kochi and Julius, known for hosting epic barbecues to satisfy the hunger of hangry — translation: so hungry you get angry — friends, Hangry Burger serves up a manageable menu of items that go beyond the basic burger, including salmon, falafel, whitefish, and lamb. French friend potatoes are joined by eggplant, asparagus varieties. And this place even serves wings and cocktails, to make it your perfect new neighborhood hangout spot. 

“Hangry? We’ve got you,” the website says. “Everyone deserves to be well cared for and well-fed. And NOBODY deserves to be Hangry.”

Hangry Burger fills in for the dearth of burger spots in the Springfield area, and despite its small menu, there is likely something to satisfy every taste. Nine main menu items, plus wings, and four varieties of fried sides — as well as bacon — comprise the savory eats. A unique dessert item, Bethany bars, can also be found here. This chocolate, avocado, and date dessert bar is one of a kind, so it’s a must-try on your next visit to Hangry Burger.

Customers have described Hangry Burger’s burgers as “nice and juicy and soft” and a “really great blend of flavors and style.” While they rave about all of the options, it seems the lamb burger may currently be the most popular, and even kids are enjoying the vegetables, chomping down on asparagus fries with gusto!

In addition to the made-from-scratch burgers, guests are delighted to find Hangry Burger has a cocktail bar, complete with beer, wine, hard seltzer, and a smattering of fun cocktails like the Shhhhtrawberry Vodka Lemonade, made with Tito’s vodka, lemonade and muddles strawberry and sugar. Or try the Yeah I Dew, a popular spiced rum drink with orange juice and Mountain Dew.

Open daily from 11 am to 9 pm, Hangry Burger currently has no online ordering, though it is being set up for pick-up and delivery.
